A little help.
Questions, a bug, or something you made?
We’d love to hear from you.
Paint with your camera
Drag one finger to paint with a camera snapshot. Tap the canvas to hide or show the camera guide and controls.
Change your brush
Pinch with two fingers to resize. Twist your fingers relative to each other to adjust softness.
Undo, redo, and start over
Use the undo and redo buttons, or move two fingers together around the canvas center: counterclockwise undoes, clockwise redoes. Hold an available Undo button to reveal Clear Canvas, then confirm to start over.
Fill the canvas
Hold two fingers still. A camera snapshot captured at touchdown expands across the canvas. When it’s ready, lift to paint. Move before lifting to cancel; the preview shrinks away.
Keep your work
Your current canvas is recovered when you reopen the app. To keep a finished image, tap Share and choose Save Image, Save to Files, or another destination. Export before deleting the app—removing it also removes its local canvas data.
Import a photo
Tap the photo button and choose an image to fill the canvas. This is also a way to start when the camera isn’t available.
Camera not showing?
Open Settings → Apps → brush cam and allow Camera access, then return to the app. If the picture is still missing, close and reopen brush cam.
